Mega Man is a video game series created by Capcom. Created as a household robot named Rock, he was converted into a fighting robot after Dr. Wily betrayed Rock's creator, Dr. Light, by stealing the six robots they made and reprogrammed them to take over the world. After the initial struggle, Mega Man continued to fight the forces of Wily in 8 main console games, 5 Game Boy games, Mega Man and Bass, a racing game, a puzzle game, a soccer game, and many more games.
