My Mega Man X
Mini Shrine
This is the bare bones of my Mega Man X Mini-Shrine. It will have character bios of the main characters, as well as an in-depth character analysis for each. My goal is to start off with this and hopefully build up to have all the main characters. Hope you Enjoy!
Mega Man X, the most prominent creation of Dr. Light (your typical video game robotic genius), is the main protagonist of the Mega Man X video game series. He is, as I call it, a "guilty protagonist". He has a rather hearty distaste for fighting, yet he fights on to prevent the misjustices caused by the Mavericks. If it weren't for his recovery by the series' forgotten character, Dr. Cain, his design schematics wouldn't have been used to create the Reploid race, robots with a similar design that could think for themselves and act like humans. Reploids that go berserk and murderous are considered to be Maverick. As X feels guilty for what he inadvertantly caused, he fights to correct the situation with the constant hope that there can be peaceful coexistance in the world between Reploids and humans once and for all.
X's sheer determination, strength in the face of adversity, and overall naive optimism make him the most realistic "Mega Man" (or the most human). His primary weapon is the X-buster, a plasma weapon with adjustable power levels. Also, he can absorb the weapons of his enemies by defeating them and scanning their data. His power is further magnified when he collects armor pieces throughout the various games. Hence, "X" can be considered a variable, since his maximum power is never truly reached.

Zero, otherwise known as Mega Man X's sidekick, is your typical badass video game character. His past is a very shady one to say at best, but that doesn't stop his seething hatred of the Mavericks. He fights, like X, to protect the world. However, it is rumored that Zero is the actual start of the Maverick virus, the one thing which causes Reploids to unwillingly go Maverick. He fights for the sole purpose of fighting injustice. Unlike X, he isn't afraid to fight and will do whatever it takes to protect humanity. And, for his zealous behavior, he has died twice throughout the X series and has come back twice. Although coming back from the grave twice is a little unrealistic, can you really put a good hero to rest?
Zero is a reploid that can think for himself and feel as well. He is armed with his trademark beam saber (starting from Mega Man X2) and his Z-Buster (Much like the X-Buster described above) from time to time.
