So glad you asked! We need 2 solid weeks before the big day to let our vendors know our guest number please RSVP no later than August 31, 2007, if you think your card won't get to us in time contact us via e-mail! Can we bring our kids? After much discussion, we've decided to make this an adult only event. Seeing as our ceremony and reception will be taking place at a golf course, we want all the guests to be comfortable and enjoy themselves so we think this will be for the best. Plus, I'm sure all you parents would kill for a nice weekend without the kids! We do understand however, that many of you are coming from out of town and/or have very small children. We would like to do all that we can to accomodate everyone so please do speak with Rob or myself and we'll try to work with your specific situation What should I wear? Well, for those of you that know BC in September it can get hot... Or rain! Last year on the weekend that we'll be getting married it was in the high 20's. Having said that I've probably jinxed us! We would like the wedding to be semi-formal or business casual! I've got my fingers crossed for a beautiful, warm, sunny day so I'd say stick with short sleeves and light colors as the ceremony will be taking place outdoors. The reception will be indoors and there is an outdoor patio. That being said, this is BC, so be prepared for rain! Oh yeah, and if you are thinking of wearing shorts and sandals... DON'T!! Rob might just be inclined to kick you out! Also no jeans or hats please. What is considered Semi-Formal dress? Semi-Formal means that tuxes are not required, nor are long dresses. Daytime semi-formal events mean a suit ( or sport coat) for him and an appropriate short dress ( or skirt) or dressy pant-suit for her Am I invited to the ceremony? But of course! If you received an invitation to the wedding you are invited to share both the ceremony and reception! Are you having an open bar? In the words of my beloved Aga, "Hells yes". That means yes it is. What do you want for your wedding? We just want this special event with family and friends to run smoothly, with everyone having a great time.
