Captain's Meeting
The Captain's/Coach's meeting will be held at Disc Central at 9:30 am on Saturday and Sunday morning. This is half an hour prior to the first game. Captains are responsible to report the scores at Disc Central after every game. The scores will be posted there. At the end of the last round, please retrieve the cones and bring them back. Disc Central will have "field" food, water, first aid kits and other supplies. Please do not leave your team's garbage on the field, there will be trash bags supplied for your team's use as well as many trash cans and recycling bins stationed around the field.
The Ultimate Code of Conduct
It is the responsibility of every player to know the rules of the game and to abide by them. Illegal substances and alcoholic beverages are prohibited at the tournament and on the tournament site. Failure to abide to this regulation by any member of the team will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team from the competition. Foul language on the field is considered a spirit violation. Please refrain from using foul or profane language during cheers as well.
Tournament Fees
Since this is a fundraiser for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, each team is required to pay a tournament fee of $150.00 CND or raise the amount (or more!) in pledges. Each team will be handed envelopes one or two weeks prior to the tournament date. Please see the Pledges Information page for more details. Prizes will go for the top three (3) players as well as the top team who raises the most money. As well, there will be a draw for prizes for players who raise over $20.00. Teams who pay the $150.00 and do not fundraise will not be included in the draw.
Waiver Forms
Please check back later for the Waiver Form that each player must fill out before the first game on Saturday morning. Waiver Forms are to be handed in at the captain's meeting or prior to it.
Injuries
There will be a first aid kit at Disc Central, as well as First Responders on site. If someone gets injured and requires medical attention, please inform the co-ordinators at Disc Central who will have cells phones on site. Coaches are responsible for having emergency medical information for their players in case of emergency.
