MEETINGS:
All of our meetings and most of our activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need the support. We meet once a month for our meet and greet (usually with a speaker, topic for discussion or other activity). The MOMS Club of Waldorf-East Chapter meets the third Thursday of every month in Waldorf, MD.
We have a separate children's room staffed with volunteer members during our monthly meeting. All members and visitors may use the room. Children that do not wish to stay in the children's room are welcome to stay with you at the monthly meetings. Any mother may nurse at our meetings. We are all mothers here and many of us have nursed our own children. If your baby or child becomes fussy or disruptive please be considerate of any speaker and move into the children's room until your child has quieted.
DUES:
Our dues are $20 a year and pay for newsletters, supplies, programs, and our national dues. You may attend two group-wide activities (such as an open playgroup, lunch outing, field trip, etc.) before you decide to become a member. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our officers.
