My kingdom for a horse:
The horse has a long and varied history as both beast of burden and stalwart friend. The Southwest is rich in heritage and breeds of horses. Our background includes work with quarter horses, walkers, draft, thoroughbreds, and miniatures. We can service at your location (home or boarding) and hope to bring you a new level of confidence in the health and safety of your horses - whether it's one or a stable full.

Man's best friend:
Dogs require regular care and treatment for distemper, worms, and various conditions. Families are advised to be cautious of extended exposure to outdoor activity in our hotter weather, especially in the puppy stage. We can advise you on how to choose a dog, the demands of each breed, and the best diet for your dog's lifestyle. Remember, your dog is a part of your family, and needs care and attention, too.

Creatures great and small:
Cats are very special creatures. Some people say you either love them or hate them, and some says it's the other way around. Cats demand time and attention, but also quiet time. Extreme upsets can throw your cat's digestive system out of kilter for several days, as can their constant grooming habits. Take special care to notice a change in behavior or listlessness. Many household plants are dangerous to cats, ask for our list and prevent an accident.

Only the bird can mimic man's voice:
Birds are one of our specialties here at Small World. Wings, feet, and beaks all require regular attention. Your bird will be with you a long time with proper care, so make time for good health habits and nutrition. We offer classes on health and nutrition, and can give you some basic training tips. We are equipped for traumatic injury of birds, and recommend regular wing clipping for your housebound pet to prevent accident and injury around the home.
