Uncle Bob's Logo

Bob Anderson In April 1974, Bob Anderson opened the door on his first bike shop, which also doubled as his detached garage at his home. After serving his country in the Air Force for a number of years, Bob found himself unable to continue the flying career he was so passionate about after an accident adversely affected his vision. In the days and weeks after his military career came to an abrupt end, Bob turned to his other passion of cycling to provide for his young family.

Over 30 years later, Bob's passion for his hobby has turned into a successful business. Over the years, Bob, and eventually the rest of his family, have been able to serve Memphis and the surrounding communities with all of their cycling needs.

When he is not in the shop taking care of his customers, Bob can most likely be found in the saddle somewhere whether it be on the road or the trails. As an active member of the Memphis Hightailers Bicycle Club, Bob has led fellow cycling enthusiasts on hundreds of league sponsored rides. If you have some spare time, make sure to ask Bob about the three different trips he has made to France to watch parts of the Tour de France. He loves to talk about that!
