| Roger Clemens was all the talk of the 2007 Classic League draft. Despite being only the second pick overall, Clemens was the subject of debate because it was unsure wheter he had officially retired. While Clemens did not file retirement papers with Major League Baseball, he did tell 60 Minutes he was retired and also stated at a press conference that he, "couldn't wait to get away from the media and into the private sector." Clemens was 17-8 with a 3.73 ERA in his first season, repaying the Limerick Hurlers for passing him in the draft. |
