Mid July through August – Airport pickup and short term housing, grocery rides, Walmart or Dollar store runs
August 16 – Furniture and Other Stuff Give Away; 6 p.m., Bethel Church, Noble Rd.
August 17 – International Student Services – Orientation Reception; 8 p.m.; Agnar Pytte Science Center Atrium; we will have an info table
August 26 – Project Agora Volunteer Training
August 27 – International Student Services Welcome Party – 7 p.m., Nord Hall Atrium; social for new and returning students
September 4 or 11 International Student Fellowship Welcome Party – Project Agora will start
September 5 – English Conversation Groups; Friendship Family Program will start
October 2 – Apple Picking and Apple Pie
October 23 – Amish Country Trip – Apple Butter Stirring at Yoder’s; (rain date Oct 30 Butcher Days at Yoder’s)
November – Thanksgiving with holiday hosts
December 25 – Christmas Program at one of our volunteers’ home
