THIS MISHAP IS KILLING ME

Don't walk away from me
When I try to tell you what I think
You act as though you don't even care.
To clear my tears, I blink.

I can't believe this is the end.
When I had such fond dreams
Of  how we would spend so much time together-
Now everything's coming apart at the seams.

Our paths separated
and you fade from the image of my destiny
It's time for me to let go of you
And think of me.

THE LOVESICK PUPPY

There's no regard for that lovesick puppy,
who's so very often the guppy
Of all those they have loved before
When all they want is to be happy.

They love even the all-time biggest jerk;
Trying to impress them with their work,
While the jerk sits back watching the show.
Enjoys admiration with a slight smirk.

They're stuck for so many days.
Left thinking of the ways.
They'd  enjoy their happiness with their jerk,
Thinking their suffering pays.

Hopes rise and fall
Then they approach a wall.
But this maze they will not beat;
not close to the end at all.

I hope those jerks remember,
As a lovesick puppy's hopes fade as an ember,
You were the abuser of an innocent heart
No peace for you, always remember.
