NO PAYBACK NEEDED

The words create a picture in my mind
And I stand there in that glorious day
When he descends from the clouds
And the saints shall rise and say,

"Glory be to God and the Lamb,
Let all see the Son,
The beginning of our eternal salvation
Has just about begun."

Would tears come to my eyes
To see his hands and feet,
They were pierced and bled for me
For my sins that I could meet

My Father in Heaven
Who loves me I know?
Who presented a plan
To let one go

He would go and do the work
And die for all the children of God,
That they may return to the Father
With their feet planted in Gospel sod.

The ultimate sacrifice; the atonement of Christ
Was the price he paid for our happiness.
I know not a way to repay him
So I'll live each day showin him my gratefulness.

SERVICE IN THE GREATEST DEGREE

"Come unto me," he says with open arms.
So to be like him I also
open my arms to my brethren
with only love in my heart
and a willingness to serve God.
And I will.

I STAND

As a child of light, I stand.
As a daughter of God, I stand.
As a proud Mormon, I stand.
As a member of humanity, I stand.
As a resident of this world, I stand.
As a sister, I stand.
As a daughter, I stand.
As a granddaughter, I stand.
As a neice, I stand.
As an aunt, I stand.
As a cousin, I stand.
As a musician, I stand.
As a poet, I stand.
As an artist, I stand.
As an optimist, I stand.
As a dreamer, I stand.
As a visionary, I stand.
As a disciple of Christ, I will always stand.
