For Peggy and Stephen-Such the cute couple!

SAYING GOODBYE

He squeezed her tighter
as her flight was called.
He brushed the hair out of her eyes,
Trying to quiet her tears.

She promised him
she'd be back.
He knew she would
so he didn't cry.

She began walking
down the hall;
Looking back at him
before she disappeared out of sight.

As the plane began to
roll away down the track,
She said an "I love you"
he did not hear.

As the plane took
off from the airport,
He said an "I love you, too"
she did not hear.
