| Kymry's Poem! Dedicated to Nicole Ray. DON'T LET YOUR RAINBOW FADE Don't let your rainbow fade, then the rain will have to come. Butterflies, free to fly no more, Battered up and run down. Daisies bloom, but beauty people give them not, And what of the roses? When their petals are withered and faded, who shall say beauty unto them? When they are gone, what then? When they are gone, daisies will be. Daisies, regular, shall still be blooming. Then shall beauty be bestowed unto them. Free as bird, be not so for a bird is caged to an idea. Free to a fault, that is an idea just to be free, for freedom has limits and that is what we need. A butterfly, do not be like so for a butterfly's beauty is fleeting like a rose's Be like something lasting be a beauty all your own. The most glorious kind is often rarely shown, the snow, all alone, do not let it touch you. Quietness, aloness, fear not that. Glory in it for it be there for that. Cloudy days, sunny days, do you not sing with? Dance with the wind, it shall guide you. The rain has come, the sun will come if you let it. another rainbow shall appear. Your star has faded but it is there. The rainbow in the sky, let it fade. for it is a myth, you can not hold it. Your rainbow, ah, now that is a rainbow. do not let it fade behind clouds or darkness. Your rainbow is not meant to leave. so don't let it, hold it, don't your rainbow fade. -Kymry Ray |
