Languages

I am a philologist (History, Literature and Linguistics) and a linguist. I understand language in depth; Semantics, Grammar, Syntax and Phonetics. Spanish is my mother tongue. I am fluent in English, both speaking and writing, and posses a good knowledge of the British and American literature, history and culture.

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere & Acrobat, Flash & Dreamweaver. Experience with audio handling software. Word. Good knowledge of Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP & Vista. PowerPoint. Excel. Experienced Internet user.

Interests

I enjoy reading and writing poetry, both in English and in Spanish (see www.geocities.com/sol_y_lluvia1991), and narrative. I also enjoy listening and playing music (see www.myspace.com/thesonicloop) and going to concerts. I have a wide knowledge of music and film, including a large collection of records and CDs and films. I used to do a music radio programme titled All The Way which you could listen at the Grain Division. I enjoy photography and painting, and take an interest in art. I also love animals and outdoor sports such as cycling, golf, snorkelling, skating, tennis, badminton and indoor and outdoor swimming.

I love travelling, and have visited Canada, Mexico, Portugal, Germany, Holland, France, Cyprus and I have travelled extensively within Spain and Great Britain. I take a great interest in culture, history, art and landscape on the countries I visit.
