studio design:
spots museum for 'the coach',
grambling university

- ashish mayer

The sports museum dedicated to 'The Coach' Eddie Robinson was to be designed on the edge of his home stadium. The land alloted to the same 12,000 sqft. was a chunk taken off the main access areas to the stadium. Keeping in mind the fact that people do tend to stand on the staadium periphery the meuseum had to be a 'non-distractive' piece of work and yet symbollise its authoritativeness over the game , players and spectators.

Keeping the museum under the ground helped the building be cool and openings helped cross ventilation in this hot climate zone.
