Done in 1995, thesis for under-grad 5th year was a design oriented project which dealt with the feasibility study of the project, in reference context to the existing socio-economic, commerical and environmental conditions and how it's existence would impact to local development.

Aquapolis ( a Roman word for city on water) got its name from the existing water bourne fort which is a tourist attraction and had tourists and picknickers coming from Bombay, one of India's biggest metro cities.

Signage and graphics and Site Landscaping were the two electives, dealt in detail in the project. The site comprised of 23 Acre of undulated land surrounded by sea from three sides and beach on two.

Note: The project was done with hand drawn drawings with water color renderings. It was awarded the best design thesis of the year and it helped me graduate as the top student of the year '95.
