Registration for the 2009 tournament is open. Registrations will be accepted until June 1st, 2009. The Tournament brackets will be posted on June 3rd, 2009 and will play out until a winner is crowned. Brackets will be created randomly - with a video posted on youtube showing the draw.

The single-elimination tournament will be held through the GameTableOnline system. If you are not familiar with GTO, you are encouraged to register and play some sample games of 1960 before the tournament. There will be no cap on participants. To register for the tournament, email a request to [email protected] (there is a # one at the end of the name) You must be a BPA member to enter this tournament. To join, click on the BPA home link to access the BPA website.

The bracket will be available here and will be updated as games conclude.

Because gametableonline is a "live" gaming system and not a PBEM system, there are several issues that can arise. Check the FAQ page for further information. GameTableOnline does feature a chat option where you can chat with your opponent, but I also suggest downloading skype -- www.skype.com and exchanging contact information with your opponent before setting a table up at GTO so there are fewer mix-ups.
