My wife and I started a project to finish our basement in April of 2000. We had planned on putting in a simple game room and attached media room in the space. What started as a small project quickly became an obsession with building a dedicated Home Theater.

For the construction history of the project click here.

We'd like to start by thanking a few people who greatly helped with the project.

First my Dad for always volunteering his time and knowledge to get me started on many areas of the project, not to mention giving me the encouragement to continue when I'd hit a road block here and there.

Second to Dennis Erskine from Design Cinema Privee Inc. Dennis came up with this great design and it's been a blast bring that design to life.

Third to everyone that I've emailed and talked with over the last 2 years. The questions, comments and suggestions were greatly appreciated and helped bring this project to life.

Thanks!

Matt

Here's the ticket booth that greets you at the bottom of the stairs, make sure to get your tickets early as seating is limited.

Another shot of the ticket booth and a few of our posters.

Stop by the bar and grab a cold beverage and some popcorn.

With ticket in hand, pick out a good seat.

Now that you're seated...

Let's start the Movie!
