In addition to teaching at the Massage Center, I offer tutoring in many modalities of massage and energy work for those students who feel a little extra practice and advice will make them the best therapists they can be.
I have studied natural healing and alternative medicine for over 20 years. In 1999, I turned my hobby into my career and became a certified massage therapist. Since then, I have worked with chiropractors, private clients and day spas, gaining over 7,500 hours of practical experience, in addition to continuing education hours.
I have a holistic approach to healing and incorporate not only massage, but also the energetic flow around the physical body to produce therapeutic results. My goal is to facilitate body, mind and spirit healing in my clients.
Having studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofacial Release, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy, Infant, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, Muscular Unwinding, Corporate Chair, Hot Stone, Polarity, Ayurveda, East Indian Head Massage and Trance Massage, it seemed only appropriate to share my knowledge. I am also a trained energy worker, with an emphasis on Chakra Balancing, Crystal Therapy and Pranic Health.
As a state certified instructor of Massage Therapy and Energy Work, I am thrilled to provide tools to others on the path of holistic and natural healing.
