Many of you have visited my web site before I deleted it and started over, but for those of you who haven't, let me introduce myself. My name is Katie and I'm a retired legal secretary of over thirty years and still work part time at home. My husband, Bill, and I have two grown children, Kathy and Mike, two grandchildren, Ian and Jamie, and three great grandchildren, Kaylee, Damien and David.
My hobbies, among others, are computers (of course), cooking and collecting recipes, amateur photography, music (country is my favorite) and the one I spend the most time doing, making quilts.
I bought my first computer in 1996 before I retired and have made many friends, both those I've met personally and those I only know online, and I treasure them all. After I retired fully, my husband, knowing that I'm unhappy if I'm not busy, made the remark that he'd hate to have lived in the same house with me if I hadn't had a computer. When I tell him I'd like to have a new computer, he just says, "Buy one." I suspect his thinking is that if Mama ain't happy, there ain't nobody happy.
I am planning to add hobby and interest pages and will have photos of some of the quilts I've made and also photos that I have taken. My favorite photo subjects are nature and wildlife. I had a lot of music posted on my previous site, but because of the restrictions now, I won't be posting music, but will have links to music sites. I also plan to resinstate my health and wellness page and a page of favorite recipes and cooking tips. I hope you all will let me add your hobbies, favorite music sites, recipes or other interests which you may have.
