| Being thankful. No matter what the circumstances are. Not too many of us are genuinely grateful for what we have. This is a great pity. God Almighty has given us so much to live for, and even more to live for Him for. Just waking up in the morning is enough for me. Just knowing all life's necessities are taken care of is cause for celebration. Think about it. What do you have to be thankful for today? It doesn't have to be Thanksgiving to give thanks to God. He wants us to show Him gratitude ALL THE TIME. So many are deprived of even the barest minimum, and that's in the physical sense. So many are in want of the most taken for granted benefits of life. Yet I have heard of poor people without a dime to their name praising God for just being alive. We have no right to take anything for granted, since all good things come down from the Father of lights. And He Who giveth, may taketh away. This brings to my mind the powerful need to give our Lord thanks for ALL things. God does NOT look at the outward appearance, nor does He require us to have great wealth and knowledge to know Him. Creator of the universe, yet born in humility, He stooped down from heaven to become one of us; not a King to rule, but a servant to serve. Jesus Christ is King of kings, yet a servant of all mankind. This is awesome! When He died on that cross, He gave us something we could and never should have deserved. Eternal life. Free access to the Father. I don't know about you, but that makes me want to shout Hallelujah!! For He is a merciful, loving, forgiving God Who so desires to be Master of your life. Let Him give you of His infinite riches of grace, love and peace. Take time out to pray today, and give God glory by thanking Him for all He has done for you. I guarantee, you will be blessed all the more. Thank You, O Lord, for every good gift You have blessed us all with, large or small. I love You so much, Lord. In Jesus Name I pray, amen. | EUREKA! I HAVE FOUND IT! We have heard those words before. It signifies revelation having been recieved and understood, thereby resulting in triumph. Has there ever been a day in your life when you were just milling along, and out of a clear blue sky, a brand new discovery appears before your eyes? Something so powerful and wonderful, but at the same time so frightening and sobering to the flesh that you just fell to your knees and begged for God's mercy? I had this experience this morning as I read my emails. Fresh from a good night's sleep and my day yesterday having been exceeding blessed, the Father of mercies revealed this truth that was so simple, and all the time, right in front of my face. And when I realized it, I could've kicked myself for being so blind all this time. He said this to me. Perhaps He is saying the same to you. "MY CHILD, YOU HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL TO ME IN MANY WAYS. I AM PLEASED WITH YOUR GROWTH, AND DESIRE SO MUCH TO WORK THROUGH YOU MORE. I WANT TO SHINE MY LIGHT THROUGH YOU TO THE FULLEST. YET, THERE IS ONE THING YOU STILL LACK. THAT IS TOTAL FAITH IN ME. YOU HAVE GROWN, BUT NOW I AM PRUNING YOU FOR MORE GROWTH. YOU MUST REPENT OF ALL YOUR SINS. YOU HAVE REPENTED OFTEN, YET YOU STILL RETURN TO SINNING. I CANNOT HAVE YOU STAINED WITH GUILT. MY SON JESUS TOOK AWAY YOUR SINS WHEN HE DIED FOR YOU. WHY DO YOU BRING THEM UP, AND CONTINUE TO WORSHIP THESE FALSE IDOLS? (insert sins commited here, you know what they are) YOU ARE TO WORSHIP AND SERVE ONLY ME. DON'T YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU, AND THAT IS WHY I GIVE YOU ONE MORE DAY TO BE ALIVE? DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I YEARN TO BE ONE WITH YOU? I LOVE YOU, AND YOU STILL STRAY FROM MY SIDE. YOU STILL DENY ME BY GOING YOUR OWN WAY, AND YOU FAIL EVERY TIME. BUT MY MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY MORNING, AND I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. SO REPENT NOW OF THE SINS YOU STILL COVET. REMEMBER THAT I AM AT THE VERY DOORS. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Praising the Lord. At times, when the Holy Spirit is upon me, I want to get up and shout HALLELUJAH! Oh how precious is our Savior, and so worthy of praise is He. For in Him, we cannot be moved to anything BUT praise, and glory to His Name! If we be silent, the very STONES will cry out! Jesus Christ is absolute perfection in every way. He is the one true God in human form. Son of God, and Son of Man. He is God in the flesh! Think about that! The Almighty Creator of the entire universe, the One who breathed life into us at the moment of conception, the One Who shaped the stars and planets, Who made the air we breathe, the oceans, the trees and the green grass which I love to lay on as I gaze up at the sky, and wonder at His mighty presence all around, while the tears flow from my eyes and praises drop from my lips. Oh, truly He is glorious and all powerful in word and deed. Jesus Christ is our Master, our Healer, our Guide and our Friend. He came to earth in the humblest of ways, and grew in favor with God and man. He preached His powerful, life-giving Word in the streets of His day, and was believed on by many, and also hated and scorned by many. But God in human flesh obeyed God the Heavenly Father to the very end. He knew of His end since before time began. And He shed His precious Blood and gave up the ghost on the cross, all for you and for me, so that WE CAN BE SAVED, and SPARED FROM ETERNAL DAMNATION. Now that is the best reason to praise Him!! Jesus had all the powers of heaven in the palm of His hand. While He preached, He could have proved His authority by causing a sign from the heavens, as the Pharisees so anxiously wanted him to do. But He didn't. While He suffered, He could have called down all the heavenly host to defend Him, and to utterly destroy this earth along with its sin-ridden, filthy inhabitants. But He didn't. The Son of Man came to SEEK and to SAVE, NOT to destroy. Oh, what a merciful, loving God! I want to get up and dance before the Throne with all my might! THANK YOU, LORD JESUS, FOR BEING YOU, FOR YOUR GENTLENESS, YOUR COMPASSION AND YOUR HEALING , RESTORING POWER. FOR YOU ARE LOVE IN ITS PUREST FORM, AND GRACE IN ITS HIGHEST DEGREE. YOUR MERCIES ARE NEW EVERY DAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PERSONAL LOVE TO ME, AND TO THOSE YOU CALL YOUR VERY OWN. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, MY JESUS, MY SAVIOR, MY ONLY LOVE.
