Kilim (or Gelim as pronounced in Farsi) is one of the oldest types of tribal rugs. The geometrical design reflects the ups and downs of the tribal life. Kilims are very durable, and are used generation after generation. Unlike low prices of new kilims, older ones are very expensives and are considered antiques.
