I come from Cork in Ireland(exciting stuff).I'm 19. Try to calm yourselves. I like all things that are dark. Vampires especially. I find them so fascinating. To have their power would be a dream come true. To prey on those weak mortals whom we all hate!! At times I'm not a people person becasue I just find them so ficle. I collect living dead dolls. I think that they rock. One of my favourite film's has to be the crow or bonnie darko. It's just so beautifully done. So dark. What more can you ask for?
Unfortunately, there's not much of a goth scene in Cork. There's one shop where you can buy gothic clothing, but they're only for women. So I have to stick with wearing black.
I've been a goth for a few years. I knew that I wasn't like everyone else. They wanted to play sport while all I wanted to do was read,write and basically be by myself. I'm still like that today but I don't care anymore about what those "cool" kids say. They used to have such an influence when I was like ten or something. But then I soon realised that I don't have to be like them. So I turned away from them and swam against the tide.
What being gothic means to me is to be true to yourself. Don't let anyone conduct your life. Live it as you feel fit. Life is short and death is eternal. I couldn't be more comfortable with my life style than now. Except for some personal problems but hey... who doesn't have them. Enjoy the rest of my site.
