To
complete this assignment, students will need to be in groups
of 3. Each student will be assigned a job as an expert and will
be responsible for conducting research to present to the group.
Each group will be responsible for assigning or choosing their expert
role. If students are having difficulty choosing, have them draw
jobs randomly. This lesson should take about 3 weeks to complete and integrates Science with Math, Writing, and Reading. Students will need to be able to analyze and synthesize information and to have effective communication skills and be able to work together in a group to complete a project. Additionally, students will need to know basic computer and research skills and know computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Power Point. Prior experience in these areas will help students meet or exceed expectations for this project. See below for the student's process steps.
