Did you know that... the letter h is spelled aitch?
when a person goes on a rant, it's a spiel, with an s and not an sh?

when you cheat someone, you gyp them, not jip?

We speak many words that we, most likely, have never seen written out.
Some of their spellings may surprise you.

Just about every day we use words that are shorter versions of longer ones.
Often, we don't even know that the words that we use are abridged.
