Welcome Everyone!!!!
This is my page dedicated to the Demolition Derby 2001! First, I'll say that for the year 2001, I ran two separate races this year. You'll hear more about them as I post pictures of the demo car. And this year, I had a 1983 Chevy Caprice stationwagon. This car had a 305 engine in it. Which some guys like to run 350 engines. But hey, gotta race what you have, right? lol But anyway, most of the painting done on this car was by me. I do have tons of pictures for this year because my grandma let me borrow her digital camera. But cause of space, I'm gonna post the pics that I like the most. If you email me wanting to see more pics, I'll be glad to send them. So, have fun reading and looking at the pics!

Here is the first picture. The people are (from left to right): My dad, Mark; My brother, Aaron; and of course Me. We are standing behind the demo car of course. The car is already on the trailer cause we are just getting ready to go to the track. I wanted to show this pic first because I love to put good statements on the back of the demo car cause, hopefully, thats the side the other drivers will see. lol First, you can somewhat see the flames I put on the back. But more importantly, you can see my favorite phrase..."BITE ME". lol At the track I had a lot of people walk by the back of the car and laugh at what I painted on it. Some of them pointed to the people they were walking with. So I think my "BITE ME" phrase really stuck out of the crowd. Mission: accomplished! LOL

Here I am standing by my car. As you can see... MY number is 66x. I chose this number because a lot of people/family was saying my car was looking like a devil car. And I know 666 is a popular, so all I did, again, is drop one of the 6's and replaced it with an "x". Pretty smart eh? lol I apologize for my clothes, but those are the clothes I chose to race in. lol Like I'm gonna wear expensive clothes into a muddy/dirty demolition derby! But anyway, as you can see on the other door, my only sponsor this year was Walt's Garage. He did a great job tuning up my car for me. I really appreciate it. Without him, I might not have been able to drive in the demo. Thanks Wally!

This is just a picture of my driver's door. I tried to get the cursive handwriting of my name like John did on last years car. I didn't do too bad. It still looks cool. And check out my numbers. Don't you just love the red eyes I made in the two 6's??? Pretty good idea there too, eh?? lol And again, you can see "Walt's Garage" painted on the other door.

This is a great picture. One of my favorites cause it shows the whole car. First, you can see MY flames. I did my own flames this year! You can also somewhat see the tire designs I have this year. Both front tires are the same and both rear tires are the same. The tires at the top of the page is what the back tires look like. You should have seen the tires when they were spinning! You can see my question mark on the back of the car. And I thought it was nice to paint "Wally" up towards the flames so that he gets his sponsor noticed even more. And on the top back of the car (which you won't be able to read), it says "Car Halt?? Call Walt!!" and then it has his shop number after it. It took awhile to come up with a "short ~n~ sweet" saying that people wouldn't need a lot of time to read. So theres the right side of the car!

Here is a picture of part of my pit crew. The people pictured are(from left to right): Me (of course), My dad; Mark, My sister; Becky, and My uncle; Ron. There is another pit crew member that isn't pictured here. I'll mention him a bit later.

Ok, here is a lot of people. lol Again, from left to right: my 2nd cousin; Marissa, my 1st cousin; Melissa, my lil bro; Aaron, myself, my sister again; Becky, and my 1st cousin; Kevin. Kevin was the other pit crew member that wasn't in the previous picture. But he was there too.

Here is a picture with me and my parents. You already know my dad, Mark. My moms name is Diana. My dad has been doing the demolition derbys for a long time now. Ever since I can remember, I was out there wanting to work on his cars.

And here is the last picture before I got in the truck and headed for the track. On the right of me is my grandpa, Virgil. And to the left of me is my grandma, Marilyn. They are the parents of my mom. And we live right next to each other so my grandma can always hear when I wanna rev up the engine to the demo cars. LOL Not to mention tear up the driveway a little bit!!! LoL
