Marianne Martin currently resides in Michigan as a writer and professional photographer. After many years of teaching in the public school system, she first turned her hobbies into a career as a photojournalist with the Michigan Women's Times.
An athlete since childhood, she has played and coached ASA fastpitch softball for many years, has been a successful basketball and softball coach at the high school and amateur levels, and a field hockey coach at the collegiate level.
Her other hobbies include building and remodeling, drawing, landscaping, and of course, reading.
All her not-so-leisure time in recent years has been spent working with her father to design and build her own home. The experience, wrapped around bruises, splinters, and a powerful sense of accomplishment has taught her more about herself than she ever would have guessed.
She is the author of these best-selling novels: Legacy of Love, Love in the Balance, and Mirrors all published by Bella Books, and Dawn of the Dance, Never Ending, Under the Witness Tree, and Dance in the Key of Love published by Bywater Books. Her short stories were published in three Naiad anthologies: Lady Be Good, The Touch of Your Hand, and The Very Thought of You, and most currently in the Romance For Life anthology published by Intaglio Publications to benifit the Susan G. Komen and the National Breast Cancer Foundations.
