route a la modj
A journey in the life of a Modjer

I think to fully understand modjers, you have to get a feel of their life and what they have to go through every day. Each day is different and exciting. Let's just sort a few things out and gather some bearings of the modj area:

Central modj place is, of course, Stourbridge town centre, and modj village is Norton, where all the adventures begin. Norton is home to many a legend, for example, Sean who used to climb trees, Riiiiiiiiich, ermmm Liz, Tina and others......oh oh Leech.

The most popular route to central modj town has proven to be the ''Lion Passage route''. It's debatable whether this is in fact quicker than the ''Worcester Street route''. This, I think raises a big issue. Why do we choose this route??? The obvious answer would be, because we pick Buff up on the way. But no, we don't; she walks all the way to Em's corner to meet us. It could be the fact that this route is actually very quiet and peaceful and gives the modjers a time to reflect and think about the finer things in life. Yes I like that one, but I'm sorry , it just isn't true. If we wanted to be quiet and reflect, we wouldnt walk with Buffey. Silence may be her biggest fear in life, especially when in a tent. The ''Lion Passage route'' does in fact have a large amount of lamp-posts which are very suitable for Ciceros, excluding the one outside the PC Newey's house (ledge). So, modjers choose this route purely for the scenery and the Ciceros and it is actually 10 times quicker.

park, and yes, you get to walk through it. OMG, could you get any more exciting? No, I think not.

But despite all this corruption the park is in fact a very beautiful place for the modj to sit and chill with a nice bottle of cizza or some cheese sandwiches. The park can be seen in the picture above in all its shining glory. We love you oh wonderous park. May your lusciously leaved trees shade Buffey when she's afraid of getting sunburnt.

I shall end this story on the most important route of all. This is the route from Lara's house to Buff's house. It is a very interesting journey, and something that the modjers all look forward to. Prob. It doesn't have a name because it is just too cool. I rek. It's like Prince. Who had a squiggle, and then changed his name back to Prince. Well, anyway. All modjers should take this route, because they get to see many wonderous attractions: Gigmill, The Mere, The Glebelands, Tina's house, Alldays and the New Inns. Basically, the route is just one straight line, unless you happen to go via Belbroughton. Which is one huge no no. Whyyyyyyy do we take this route?? Why why why? I'll tell you why... because you go past Colshaw and the Green. Bec and Liz also live there, but that doesn't count. The journey from Lara's to Buff's, which includes Em's house in Chezza Strezza takes approximately 10 minutes, or even 8 if you speed walk. It is a lovely route too. We love it. Yes.

On very special days, like Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays, modjers catch the infamous ''modj bus'' into town. This is very exciting indeed. A certain modjer gets on first and then meets the other modjers on at a slightly more middle class stop further down the road. Modj bus is full of magical people, for example, Annetts, Linford, B.O, the list goes on and on. On some of these special days, modjers like to walk back from Stourbridge Junction. This is one hell of a mission for the modjers and takes a huge amount of courage. Only the fittest and the strongest could tackle this route. When you finally get past places such as Tesco and OSH, you reach the
The park is a very good friend to the modj, it has always been there for them and has provided quite a few memories. Can I just point out some things about the park I don't like: The Jones (Gummy) twins once let all the budgies out of their cages, which means they all prob died, although I don't agree with birds living in cages, naughty people that go in the bandstand and do naughty things, people who kick footballs at you and drunken Kevs.
