Here's how things were looking part way through the move. The movers were great, and it was all a breeze. Now we just need to finish unpacking, and wait for some of the furniture we've got on order to arrive.
So, these are the "before" shots. In a few weeks, we'll have the "after" shots
Since this photo, we've got it mostly unpacked, and we've cooked a couple of meals. It's a well-made kitchen, and it's great to have gas.
We're still awaiting our new lounge suite. The sofa bed will do in the meantime. Our friends Sam and Josh spent over 3 hours constructing our entertainment unit (not pictured) while we were having an ultrasound done. Then Marc helped too, and they all got it finished before sunset! (What a job!)
Now completely unpacked! See how the movers wrapped the mattress in plastic. We were quite impressed!
This will be the Grandparents room. You wont recognise it when you visit. (For starters, it will have a bed!)
It may not look like a nursery now, but it soon will! This was Nicola's "admin room" on moving day - to keep her occupied while the boys did the moving.
How strange, but convenient! The previous owner had a special cat toilet built into the bathroom. And one of her cats is called Chester, too!
