Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo
Sunday 30 April
The expo was held at the Olympic Stadium in Homebush. With free tickets, and lots of discounts on offer, we had a good day! It wasn't just shopping, there were also interesting demos and displays.

We decided to only buy things that were cheaper than retail, and did quite well...

Snug as a Bug - Polar Fleece
We hadn't heard of these before - but there were lots of people at the stand grabbing for the last sizes, so we thought we'd better join in!

The idea is to wrap baby up so s/he's nice and warm when out and about. Apparently they like being cacooned (reminds them of the womb).

This one is made from Polar Fleece - for winter.
(Modeled by Lilo - or Stitch...)
Snug as a Bug - Cotton
This one's 100% cotton, and a smaller size - in non-gender-specific yellow.

Because we spent over $60 on
Snug as a Bug, we got a free T-shirt and yellow jumpsuit.

Aveda Feeding Pack
This was our "purchase of the day"- it should have us all set for feeding!

Effectively we only paid for the Pump, Steriliser and Bottle Warmer, the rest were "bonus items" (10+ bottles, lotions, baby cup, pacifiers etc)
Bepanthen
The woman at the Hospital stand said the Bepanthen stand was great value - so we high-tailed it over there to buy some, and enter the draw to win some more. We had no idea what it was - of course...

Now we know it's lotion to prevent nappy rash.
Curash Starter Pack
A good little starter pack for wiping, washing, powdering and moisturising the bub.

And, it came with a bonus rubber ducky!
Bibs
These actually weren't at the Expo - they were at the super-enormous Ikea, nearby. Good value, and you can never have too many.
FREE samples
It's not a good Expo unless there's free stuff. These are all the freebies we collected.
