Week 29: A busy week: Had an ultrasound, and all is well, everything's the right size and in the right place! Then had antenatal class - watched a couple of graphic videos (I'm sure Marc will faint during the birth!) And today I had the obstetrician visit - again, all is well. We did a bit of shopping in the weekend, so the Layette page is updated.

Week 28: First antenatal class was good - learned all about the various stages of labour, and got a tour of the hospital rooms. Also had an ultrasound on Friday - everything is present and correct. Oh, and we bought an apartment! (See New home, on the left)

Week 27: Obstetrician appointment was all good! Now we're in the third trimester we'll be going every fortnight. Plus weekly antenatal classes start next Tuesday and we have an ultrasound next week. So much going on, I've put an appointment section on the home page!

Week 26: Baby's kicking is now strong enough for Marc to feel! Over the past week we've been researching re-useable nappies. NZ has some great ones! Really cute, and (hopefully) easy to use and clean. We're going with Smart E Pants (link here).

Week 25: Took the "bump" to New Plymouth for Easter! On the flight back I could actually see baby kicking - must have been objecting to the in-flight movie Nanny McPhee.

Week 24: Baby's doing lots of kicking and jumping around. Nic can feel it without having to concentrate now. Won't be long before Marc can feel the movement too.
