I just wanted to make a little note that I have not abandoned this site.

Past two weeks, my phone and DSL have been on the fritz.

And I've been running around, unable to find a place to check email, making calls from pay phones, that sort of thing.

Really isolating, having no electronic communication of any sort.

I was so desperate, I went to CompUSA to use their sample Internet stations. Unfortunately, they use some demo version of AOL, that doesn't allow you to scroll down.

Of course, now that I have a phone, people stop calling.
