RECOMMENDATION LETTER 1

To whom it may concern:

I know Dr. Manuel Leandro Reguillo since 1988 when he started to work onhis end of studies project at our University under my supervision and made also some collaborative work on a project funded to our Department by the EU. He got his Telecommunication Engineer Degree in 1989. Later, by mid 1990, Dr. Leandro started a research job in our group concerned with an European project an his Ph D. Thesis, also supervised by me. During that time, he directed the woek if several undrgraduate students and attended to international meetings to plan and share findings and he developed high quality research that was published in international conferences. That research was key in the development of a writing aid for people with motor disabilities that was part of a contract fundes by the Ministry of Work and Social Services.

Dr. Leandro stayed in our department until the presentation of his Ph D Thesis in 1995. I would like to emphasize the conciousness and care that he put in all the work that he did here and his high level of responsabilitiy towards his job.
