01/26/02 - wow...I didnt think it'd been that long since I had really updated this...oh well...as of right now, just the one show scheduled...we plan to go to the studio again in the next 4 or 5 weeks to start on our full length cd, so that should be pretty time consuming there...we'll let you know..."keep hope alive"
11/10/01 - Well...we've got a couple new shows scheduled...check em out on the shows part of the page...if anyone needs tickets to The Blue Cat show, contact a manifest member ASAP, they're $5...
10/12/01 - It's been a while since I've had time to really update anything on here...our debut studio EP, STEP ONE, is now on sale for $8 at all shows...the lyrics for all those songs are now on the website for your personal reading pleasure...we've had a couple recent shows, and are now basically banned from canal st tavern...it's a long long story, but in the end good old Mick "Heart Attack Waiting to Happen" Montgomery, owner of canal st, feels the need to screw over the kids...we apreciate any kind of boycott against canal st you can offer and good old fashion complaint calls are always good too, hehe...a recent show w/ Destracore went quite well though...we tried a first attempt at an all acoustic set, it turned out pretty good...we're still looking to gig as much as possible around here, although our only scheduled show is for Thanksgiving eve (no skool or work the next day so evry1 should be there and stay late) Nov. 21 at Jags...
8/18/01 - Welp, we did it...manifest is the 2001 Jags Battle of the Bands 1st place winner. We have a little something for our resume now...thanx...see ya at the next show...
8/16/01 - We're in the lead in the finals for Jags playoffs after the first nigh. The score was 48-31-13 (manifest, plan b, 44)...keep up the support! Friday the 17nth, 10:00!
7/28/01 - The tiebreaker for the 2nd round of Canal's playoffs went good, thought we did loose 112-97 (a lot of people there last night)...we still have Jags playoff finals...hope you all can come out...
7/19/01 - Last night was Jags's playoff's 2nd night of the 2nd round...we didnt play great, but didnt play bad either...we are in the finals for it now though...we need all support there August 15 and 17...
7/16/01 - First time updating in couple weeks, so...the last canal street playoff show ended in a tie (thats right, a frickin tie)...so, we have to play the show again on Friday July 27, starting again at 9 w/ 2 sets and all...its a friday, so no one has an excuse not to come.....also, today, finally, we went to ReFraze studios and mixed our EP...the release date is set for Tuesday September 18, the title of EP is still in the works...
6/23/01 - Yesterday we went and booked a mixing session at ReFraze studios on July 3, so finally sometime soon here, we'll be releasing our studio cd(s)...also, today, i got a call from Canal Street...July 5th is our second round date, everyone needs to come! check out the shows part for more info on that...
6/12/01 - I finally got around to scanning in and posting the review we got from the last Canal Street show for the Dayton Band Playoffs in the Impact Weekly...
6/03/01 - OK, here's the deal...Joe Miller, owner or FJM Recording Studios, passed away unexpectedly last week and the lawyers have shut down the studio until further notice...so therefore, our cd is in the studio, sitting there unfinished, just needing to be mixed, but we can't get to it...we have no idea how long this will set us back on the release date of "Fortune's Fool"...what we have decided to do is make a limited edition "Manifest Summer '01 Live Sampler" which contains 3 songs recorded live from the 5/16/01 show...it's available now and will be sold for $3 each until we run out (aprox 125 copies will be made)...sorry for the inconvience...
5/30/01 - The band bio has finally been updated for all of you anal-retentive fans/bass players :)..."Fortune's Fool" the single will be done this friday and for sale anytime after at school on June 4-7, at shows, and possibly through the webpage eventually...$5 will be the cost...setlist is as follows:
1) Fortune's Fool
2) Don't Hate
3) MAK
...and could there be a bonus track 4??...i guess u'll just have to buy it and find out...
5/17/01 - ...back from Canal, things went good (border-line great), not too many noticable mistakes, had alot of high points...we won the night w/ 55 votes (detracore had 22 and covert comunity had 17) and are currently in 2nd place out of the 12 bands thats played so far...we'll know if we made it into the 2nd round the 2nd week of June for sure probably and the 2nd round will start a week or 2 after that...the noise section finally has sound clips up (a few from the canal show)
5/12/01 - Talent show went very well (except for chaney's bass drum pedal)...a special thanx to the ladies who screamed especially loud for us :)...recording for our single/demo has been goin on and its goin good...itll be done and out very soon...
4:20/01 - Shows section updated, check it out...also we have booked studio time in early May at FJM to go and record some of our stuff...we hope to have our first single out by June..."Fortune's Fool"...keep your ears open for the newly refined sounds of manifest...

01/24/01 - Our very own bassist, Halfrican, was seen/heard by thousands at yesterday's Green Day concert here in Dayton. Half went up there and showed off his stuff, representing manifest quite well...

11/29/00 - Well folks...recent news...I'm sure you've all probably seen all the pretty artwork on our otherwise dull site, right?? Well all of that must go soon. It seems a certain recently kicked out member, who's name will only be said in Pig-Latin to protect his identity (ObbyRa), has threatened to "sue me" if I don't take down his (and my) artwork. Oh well, new art is in the making......also we're in the process of auditioning possible lead singers. As a 3-piece right now, we're looking to still gig and make money until we find the right singer. The wait shouldn't be too entirely long, be patient.
11/10/00 - Manifest and Robb has officially gone their seperate ways (and he didnt even throw that big of a fit). Never you fear, the band will continue as a 3-piece, and look to add another singer/guitarist whenever the right man is found.
10/27/00 - Manifest plans to go in the studio to cut a small demo and make a 1 song single to be sold at shows. Schedualed date of that is November 2. We'll let u know how it turns out.
9/30/00 - Thank You to all who came out to the Canal Street show, we had a great turn out!
9/13/00 - Hey, we just want to thank all of you for comming out to our shows, we really apreciate it. And here's another one for you... Canal Street. is going to be "MANIFESTed" September 27th, we play at 9.30 for a 45min set. There's probably a cover charge of a couple dollars. The show is 18 and up, so you'll need some adult figure. We hope you all can come out...

8/15/00 - We just got booked to play at Canal Street. The show is August 29th and we play at 11.30. We need fan support to impress them enough to invite us back again, so please come on out.
8/14/00 - MANIFESTATION confirmed for August 26th. The band expects all you fans to be there.
8/13/00 - Yesterday was our very first show and it went very smoothly(well almost...). The band was planning on making a little cd out of the show but the recording was bad. Also MANIFESTATION has been re-scheduled tenativley for August 26th, so mark your calendars. And remember "From here things can only get better..."
7/30/00 - Manifestation set for Aug. 19 has been CANCELED due to circumstances beyond the band's control...i know this is very disapointing to all 3 or 4 of you fans, but we must go on...
