Keep the Air in my Tires
Although the Bicycle is in many ways the best personal vehicle ever invented, not even it is perfect. After thousands of miles of rough roads, even these masters of durability succumb to entropy's irresistible power, requiring repairs and replacement. While the only carbon fuels burned are those in my food, they are needed in vast, vast quantities. As for air pollution, absolutely zero from the bike. I, however, am another story, unless I get an occasional shower.
Be assured that I have learned how to and enjoy traveling frugally. Daily estimated "On the Road" expenses for this MS Society fundraiser are as follows:
