ART ANALYSIS WEB PAGE - PROJECT DESCRIPTION You are required to develop a web page with your group about the Chicano Art and Artist you wrote your analysis paper about. When your papers are completed, you will upload them to a group web page. You should come to consensus with your group in designing the page and begin working on this project as soon as your papers are ready so that you have it completed by the deadline. Your web page should be carefully prepared (see the assessment criteria for more information). You do not need to learn HTML in order to develop the web page. The computers in the labs on campus have Myrmidon, a program which converts your word processor document to HTML Also available are Claris Home Page, PageMill, and Navigator Communicator which are programs that allow you to develop a web page using your converted documents and images that you select to carry out your theme. Our class on Feb. 17 will be a workshop on using Myrmidon and Claris Home Page. The SSU computer labs have assistants who can help you upload to the MAMS 220 Home page. I will also be available in my office during office hours to help you. Your group assessment rating and individual ratings for each of your group members for the Web Page is also due on March 24. As a group you will develop a web page to publish each of your Art Analysis Papers to create a collaborative report. With your group, brainstorm how you want your web page to look. Remember that you have more flexibility in designing a web page than you do working on paper. You can include images, etc. choose background and text colors, and make links to your individual papers and to other sources on the Internet. Your first page, which has already been created for your group, should be a title page with the name of the artists and art work, summary of the web page contents, i.e. who the group members are and titles of their papers. It should also have links to each individual's page. You, your group members, and I will evaluate the group's web page and your participation in creating the web page. Your individual grade will be an average of group rating and individual rating. Make a copy of the charts below to do your ratings.
