Postpartum Doula Package

I serve all families during the postpartum period.  I believe every family deserves a doula!

Free Initial Visit (either during the prenatal period or postpartum period)

My roles prior to arrival of the baby:

Assistance in writing a postpartum plan
Provide newborn and breastfeeding education
Sibling preparation advice

My roles after arrival of the baby:

Emotional

�   Offer emotional support, discusses the birth and experiences of being a parent
�   Nurtures parents into their new role as parents, promoting parent-infant bonding

Educational

�   Breastfeeding support/assistance
�   Newborn care
�   Infant massage
�   Infant soothing skills
�   Use of slings and soft baby carriers
�   Advice on sleeping issues for mom and baby

Practical

�   Insures mom is getting adequate rest, wholesome meals and snacks, time for personal care
�   Simple meal preparation
�   Errands
�   Laundry-baby or mom
�   Dishes
�   Sibling care

Reference Referrals

�   Lactation
�   Postpartum Depression
�   Play groups, parenting support groups, breastfeeding support groups
�   Child care resources

Fee
:
I provide my Postpartum Doula services on a sliding fee scale and/or payment plan.  My fee is $0-$25/hour.  I accept cash, check, or credit cards (processed through PayPal).

Lending Library:

Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, babycare, and parenting books and videos available for check-out to all clients.  I also highly recommend all books approved by
La Leche League.
