My interest in RESEARCH was rekindled and has taken a different direction in 2003. It started when I made official representation to the ZONAL RESEARCH PROGRAM (ZRP) of the the COMMISSION on HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED). The program was based at UP Diliman under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development (UP-OVCRD). The ZRP is a capacity and capability program of CHED aimed at improving and revitalizing the research culture of Higher Education Institutions (HEI's).

The research that I am involved in entitled "BEST PRACTICES IN ACADEME - INDUSTRY LINKAGES". It seeks to document non-comprehensive efforts of HEI's at linking with its industry partners with the mindset that it will bridge the gap between requirements of the industry and the trainining and education provided by the schools.

To date the project is winding down..

RESEARCH INTEREST....

My current research interest revolves around "evaluation research methodologies". I gravitated towards this field because of the growing importance of identifying "quality practices" and providing viable evaluation techniques using old methods to new applications or designing new ones.
