Malinger is over. Thank you all for the great memories throughout the years. This site will remain, but the band will not. Check out Worm and Jeff's new band IMI - Click here.

The band just got back from 2 days of shows back to back, and it's been a long haul, but definately worth every second!!! MCCC show was great, and the Somerset Inn was a blast as usual. Next show is on the 17th at Hamilton High West, so come out and see the guys play!!

Some general news: Eric has a new amp, a Line6 Flextone II 2x12 stereo combo amp (sweet!), and Worm finally ordered a pedal case! In other news, we're giving the propoganda dept. a trial run. Malinger has dubbed the month of May "Malinger Mayhem", due to the increaing amount of live shows it contains. In preparation to advertise for these shows, Malinger Online will act as a hubb for those who'd like to help spread the word. Just go to the following propoganda link, and click on the flier you'd wish to post around town. When it comes up on the screen, print it out, make copies, or send the e-mail-able fliers to everyone you know! Help get more people to come see Malinger and watch the family grow!

NOIZEfest, originally planned for June 20th, 2003 has been temporarily postponed until further notice. The new date looks to be sometime in July.

The show last Saturday was a complete SUCCESS!!! Thanks to all who ventured out to see us play! Well, we're going to be posting pics from that show soon on the much needed updates to the gallery on this site. The band has been hard at work on new material, songs like "Time After Time" and "Palette Knife" to name a few. Definately look forward to hearing them in upcoming shows (esp. on the 9th AND 10th). The album is creeping along, with much work needed to be completed on vocals and mixing. That's all for now.

4.24.03
So, Saturday marks the beginning of Malinger's stretch of pre-summer shows. For those who haven't seen Malinger in a while, look forward to seeing some older tunes resurface, like "Lessons Learned" and "Believe In Me" (yes, these early songs still exist!), as well as some other old time favorites. For those who wish to go to the Saturday show at the Somerset Inn, the show IS 21 AND UP, and we will be leaving aroung 7pm to get there. So, if you're planning on coming, but don't know where this place is, then join the club, cuz we have no clue either! Check the shows section for more details (and even a map!).

4.23.03
Due to a few unforseen scheduling conflicts, Malinger has pulled out of the show at Steinert HS on April 26th. The band is still playing at the Somerset Inn later that evening, and all other shows are to go ahead as planned. No recording news to report.

4.14.03
Be sure to check out the shows section for a completely updated list of new shows. A breif run-down of events is as follows: 4/26 Stienert HS & the Somerset Inn, 5/9 Mercer County College, 5/17 Hamilton HS West, 5/26 Joe's Mill Hill Saloon, 6/20 NOIZEfest 2003. More shows on the way, and more album details coming soon! There's just oo much going on right now!!!

Unscheduled event!!! Malinger is slated to perform at KatManDu in Trenton on Wednesday, April 12th @ 9pm!!! This is a totally unforseen event!! And, since many of our fans were ripped off at the Conduit a few months back, the band is giving away FREE TICKETS to ANYONE WHO WANTS THEM!!! Want to see the guys for free?? Contact Mike in an e-mail ([email protected]) and tell us how to get in touch with you and we'll get you your free tickets!!! NOTE: this show is not a free event; you need to have a ticket given to you by the band to get in for free, otherwise there is an admission fee.
