Lipstick * Lipgloss * Lip Liner
Lipstick
Lipstick is not as common as it used to be. More
girls are going for the more natural look today.
To choose the color that's right for you, look at
your skin tone, hair color, and size of lips.
Light Skin/Blonde Hair: Shades of orange, pink and
light purples.
Dark Skin/Dark Hair: Shades of red, purple, and darker
colors.
Light Skin/Dark Hair: Shades of red, brown, and gold.
Small Lips: Try using lighter colors if you have small
lips, because darker colors will make them stand out
a lot more which will cause them to appear to be smaller.
Lip Gloss
If you are not a big fan of lip stick, lip gloss is
the next best thing. It can be used to help heal chapped
lips, and gives off a glow without adding any extra color
to your lips. These also can come in different scents, and
you can also buy some that have a slight tint of color
added, but just enough so it hardly looks like you have
any on.
Lip Liner
Lips liner is not necessary, but it gives your lip
stick longer lasting color by working as a back-up.
If you do choose to use lip liner, choose a color thats
a shade darker or the same color as the lipstick you
plan to use with it. Carefully line your lips, and
you can also fill in your lips with the pencil for longer
lasting color. Then, apply your lipstick over the liner.
