Hair: Bright red, cut very short so it curls around her face and at the nape of her neck. Even when unruly it looks extremely attractive, difficult to pull off after wearing a riding helmet for candlemarks at a time.
Eyes: Bright green, with a touch of gold, Ree can enchant the most hard-hearted person with her soulful eyes.
Build: Ree is shorter than the average Pernese woman, and muscular from years of hard work down South. She has what are, in her opinion, lamentably large "child-bearing" hips, as the aunties at Fire Flame Hold always used to say.
Complexion: Ree has pale, pale skin, liberally sprinkled with freckles across her nose and cheekbones. She has a tendancy to burn with unfortunate regularity, even when she remembers to wear a hat to sheild her face from the sun.

Personality: Ree is an open, enthusiastic, energetic, and all-around likable individual, as long as you don't see her before her morning cup of klah. She'd rather lounge around in bed all day than do wingdrills or fight thread, but she does know her duty and does it, however reluctant she may act. There's nothing she likes better than a fun evening with friends, food, music, and ample skins of wine. She's been known to drink many a bronzerider under the table, just to prove she can.

Although Ree is a tomboy at heart, and scoffs at the idea of "true love," she's hopelessly in love with the Weyrleader, S'rion, even though he is oblivious to her regard, lost in his personal pain as he is. She is content that he regards her as a friend and a competent wingrider, although she longs for more.

She's as true-blue as they come, loyal to the end and fierce as a bulldog in defending her friends. Some label her pugnacious, but exuberant might be more accurate - she'll get into fist fights and wrestling matches, even when hopelessly outmatched, just to show she can.

History: Ree was born in the Southern Harper Hall, located at Fire Flame Hold. She lived with her father, a Journeyman Harper at the time, and she saw her mother only rarely, when she returned to her husband and family after sevendays of wandering around the Southern Continent. She refused to stay put and help raise her children, so Rhellen did the best he could and raised Ree to love life, live it to the fullest, and not take anything from anyone. She apprenticed at 11 in the Harper craft and walked the tables at 17. Her first posting was to Fire Flame Weyr, where she was supposed to study under the guidance of the Weyrharper. Instead she decided to Stand as a candidate and Impressed Soshavith at 18 turns of age. She progressed through weyrling training quickly, and managed to survived threadfall after threadfall without a single score. She had befriended a young goldrider at Asov Weyr, Coleva, and when Coleva was transferred to Makala, Ree was quick to follow.!
Once at Makala her skill at threadfighting evidenced itself, and she was placed in the Weyrleader's Wing. Something about S'rion called to her, and although she tries to deny it, even to herself, she has fallen quite head over heels in love with him.

Description: Shosavith is a dainty green with slighly outsized wings that give her greater manuverability than most greens. She's a deep emerald color that sets off Ree's pale skin and red hair, something that delights Shosavith to no end.
Personality: Shosavith is the kind of dragon who delights in simply being alive. Everything is a new experience to her, and new experiences are without fail delightful. She has some Search sensitivity, but, as she is delighted with every new person she meets, Ree often has trouble distinguishing between her normal glee and a true Search.
