| Looking into the differences of people will give a person insight and knowledge to be able to be more open about those differences. Differences may include ethic and cultural perspectives, class, race, gender, sexual orientation and ability. By learning about these, one can gain better views into oneself as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The poem that I have entitled "That Person" was written for the class self transformation paper that was written for the end of last term. I feel that this shows Human experience in that it shows how a person can react to someone else and the actions that they take together. |

| Gentrification is all around us today. It is in our human nature to want to make things better, whether we are disrupting others in the process. Creating this project showes us the difference in old towns as opposed to "up-dated" towns. People live in different places and sometimes prefer different things, as well as see things from a different light. Sometimes technology isn't a good thing, so maybe the yearning for making things better isn't really human nature after all. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Without Immigration, there would be no America as it is today. The difference in cultures in America is one of the the things we pride ourselves on, yet we want everyone who comes here to be like us. When they refuse to join us, they become the "them", making the human diversity of our society a thing of shame. And the Japanese people that moved here are no different. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I have chosen to add my student lead discussion in this goal because of the topic of it. I lead my discussion on the topic of religion. That is something that varies from person to person, and is something that we talked about in class as well as my discussion. Religion sometimes defines who a person is, or who they aren't for that matter. To some people religion is all that matters and nothing else should come before it. This is something that people must take into account when looking at the human way of life. Without religion, things would not be as interesting, and people would not have come so far in their ways. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
