Top 80s Lists

No one can deny the impact of the 80s. Anyone over the age of 20 can remember those synth driven melodies and catchy vocal hooks that have played in the back of your mind for years. Today you'll probably find these songs used in commericals and some movies. I know, there were too many tunes to keep track of. But a lousy attempt is worth more than none at all, right?? So here are two lists that I think covers my opinion of the most recognizeable songs of the decade. One list covers the stuff that other people would by-and-large be able to recognize and possibly single along with. The second list are the songs that you would probably find me listening to whenever I was bored with the radio.

Just a side note about my personal list. As I did with my recongizeable song list, I will try to only make one appearance per artist on the list although you can bet that the position of that artist has something to do with how well I like them. The reason for this is because the list would be dominated by 10 songs apiece from bands like Metallica, GnR, etc. So without further ado:
