...And so, in 1999 I got a job working full time near Tokyo, Japan doing telecommunications. Looking at the image above, I live near the center of the red shaded box on the right. I've probably been just about everywhere inside the right box (Tokyo area), a little around the left box, (Osaka area) and I've visited that big island way up north (Hokkaido). Japan and it's people are very different from those in the US and in Europe, the customs and traditions take a little getting used to, but once you have it down, it is a very nice place to live. Here on this page, I will share some of the things I've done and leanred for those who haven't been or for those who would like to visit. Read on!
