Marilyn Morrison

Marilyn is actually a personal musical heroine of mine who I've had the privlage of meeting when I visited the bay area in California. Although her trade is actually bass and vocals, I have listed her as a composer because of the matiuclous effort and vision she puts into her work. She was a member of a bay area group in the early 90s by the name of Nocturne. I was most impressed with the drive that pushed her to create music for music's sake and to have fun while doing it! Unfortunatly Nocturne didn't attract more than a regional following before they were disbanded, which is a shame because I felt at least their hard-working bass player/vocalist could have gone places (Im sure she still can!). I especially enjoyed her bass playing on their single 'Hallowed Ground', and if I ever see her again, I'll have her autograph my copy! As far as I know she is on hiatus right now, but I eagerly await her return to the scene she loved so much! Go Marilyn!
