did my
schooling till my 10th in Loyola School, Trivandrum and my 11th and 12th in
VSSC Central school, Trivandrum. Then I went on to do my Under-graduation in
Electronics & Communication Engineering at College of Engineering
Trivandrum, India one of the first ten Engineering colleges in India.
One of the most attractive features of College of Engineering Trivandrum is the huge number of placments that happen in campus.
As part of the campus recruitments I was placed in Satyam Computers, one of
the top five software firms in India. I was later selected by Future Software
Pvt Ltd, an ISO 9001 and SEI CMM Level 5 Company offering communication
software solutions in leading edge technology areas for the global
communications industry. Future Software focuses on IP, Broadband (ATM), and
Narrowband, Wireless & Emerging technologies.
One of the best things that happened in my life was the software recession that happened after this and both companies started extending joining dates. I had the opportunity of working in varied and rich range of professions. I worked in Career Launcher Trivandrum as the Center Manager for a year. It was a terribly challenging responsiblity with incredible competition from all fronts. It was a cool job with a lots of challenges but then I always wished to stick with the technical stuff, so I quit the job after almost a year and joined Marian Engineering College as Lecturer. In the meanwhile I started taking classes for GATE entrance also.
After enjoying a year and a half of all these varied experiences, I have finally reached my abode as a Software Professional at Satyam Computers Pvt Ltd. Here I am a Java Developer, working on an ERP tool, Ematrix.
