What we must especially understand this time in the three realms (the work of desire, the astral world and the causal world) in the relation between the astral world and the brain.
First, I would like to prove that there is a substantial difference between this world of desire and astral world with few examples.
When we say something to ourselves, a word of some words, in our mind, an electrical potential is produced on the surface of the brain which ranges between a few microvolts and a few hundred microvolts. However, we cannot obtain a word like "dog" by merely changing there waves into sound signals. The word we thought in our mind is replaced by an electrical potential in the cerebral cortex, and is changed into a command for a word in the speech center. We follow that command by saying it using our vocal cords and mouth muscles.
What happens if we are able to convey this potential without using and language? We should be able to communicate with each other beyond that boundary. There will be no more language barriers between America, Russia and China. This is the nature of telepathy.
Telepathy has been the subject of scientific research fir quite some time. The following is one such example.
The first task was to try to detect the action of telepathy in the brain, so in March 1967 the group installed Kamensky in Moskow again and took Nikolaev to a laboratory in Leningrad, where he was installed in an isolated, soundproof room and wired up to a series of physiological monitors. . He spent a while getting himself a receptive state, which he describes as �completely relaxed, but attentive�, and when he indicated that he was ready, his brain was producing a steady alpha rhythm. Nicolaev had no idea when the telepathic message from Kamensky would be transmitted, but just three seconds after the experimenters in Moskow gave the signal to begin sending, Nicolaev�s brain waves changed drastically as the alpha was suddenly blocked. For the first time in history, visible proof of the transmission of an impulse from one mind to another, across four hundred miles, had beer obtained.
In later tests, EEG records showed similar dramatic changes in the brain patterns of the sender as well as the receiver, and the Popov group reported, �We detected this unusual activation of brain within one to five seconds after the beginning of telepathic transmission. We always detected a few seconds before Nicolaev was consciously aware receiving a telepathic message. At first there is a general, non-specific activation of the front and mid sections of the brain. If Nicolaev is going to get the telepathic message consciously, the brain activation quickly becomes specific and switches to the rear, afferent regions of the brain�. When receiving an image of something such as a cigarette box, the activity in Nicolaev�s brain was localized in the occipital region, associated with sight, and when the message consisted of a series of noises being heard by the sender, activity took place in the receiver�s temporal area, which is normally involved with sound.
In one of their experiments Kamensky was exposed to a strobe light flashing at a set frequency inside the alpha range, and naturally this stimulus set up a corresponding rhythm in his brain. Nicolaev, in another building, prepared himself and settled down to receive communication by producing his own alpha rhythms, and when the two thought they were in contact, in was found that their patterns were perfectly synchronized. Not only that, but every time the frequency of the light flashing at Kamensky was changed, Nicolaev�s rhythm changed instantly to match it. Similar result have been obtained at the Jefferson Medical College, in Philadelphia, where two ophthalmologists showed that a change in brain rhythm, such as the production of alpha waves, in one twin could cause a matching shift in the brain of the other, identical twin some distance away.

The same result has been obtained by the EEG experiments conducted in our organization. Two people who are deeply attached to each other both mentally and sexually and who respect each other, have exactly the same EEG pattern. For example, if one shows an alpha�alpha-alpha-beta wave pattern, the other will also show an alpha-alpha-alpha-beta wave pattern. In short, despite their physical differences, the astral world they fro is common.

When our imaging activity and so-called �consciousness� stops completely, in other worlds, when we have reached the stage of Arhat in Buddhism, other people�s thought and feelings are reflected in ourselves just as in the telepathy experiment. The only difference is that our brainwaves are still, so the can reflect the others� waves exactly as they are. And when they are reflected, we tend to think by mistake that these feelings are ours because they from the same wave patterns as the ones produced from within.
In other words, there is no difference between our own feelings and the feelings we receive from others. People tend to believe that feelings are their own and they are what their feelings are.But now you can see that feelings are without substance that you do not own your feelings. Scientifically speaking the potential produced in our own brain can also be produced as a potential in someone else�s brain.

The Secret of Mind Reading

Generally, telepathic communication is done between people who have strong karmic ties and there are very few exceptions to this. However, if the mind becomes clear, our brain waves become flat, we will be able to know at will what other people are thinking when we synchronize our mind with the mind of that particular person. This is because the brain waves which he is sending out are projected in our mind as they are.
There are descriptions of the ability to read other�s mind in Buddhist texts, and telepathy is only an elementary level of mind reading. Ultimately, we are able to see other people�s mind visually. The attained of Kundalini Yoga in Aum all have the ability to read other�s minds.
This is why mind reading is often compared to a crystal mirror or a level surface of water. A person who has not attained enlightenment may synchronize his brain waves with another�s, bud he will not be able to tell whether it is own or the other�s because he still has own wave patterns. Only when our waves are completely flat, we will be able to tell that they belong to others.
We can take mirrors as an example. Suppose there are three different mirrors. The first mirror has a jagged surface. The second mirror has an uneven surface. And the third mirror has a flat surface. If the jaggedness is very sharp, there will be no reflections at all. It will be all white. When the surface is undulatory, there will be a collection of distorted reflections. And as the cycle the undulation becomes longer, each divided area becomes larger and comes closer to the original sharp. When the mirror has a completely flat surface, it can reflect the object correctly. We can consider these mirror surfaces as brain wave patterns.
