Branchala-

Branchala, the Bard King, is the god of music. Since the beginning of time he has been a companion of Habbakuk. Branchala embeded Krynn's first creatures with the lyric and untamed melody of his immortal soul. Elves and kender consider Branchala the highest of all the gods.

Chemosh-

Chemosh, lord of undead, was called forth by Takhisis in the Age of Dreams. Takhisis needed a lieutenant to marshal the legions of death. This makes Chemosh a powerful adversary of good, for being able to control the undead is a powerful force. Chemosh offers "eternal life" to mortals, this "eternal life" consist of spending immortality in an undead and corrupted body. With each new minion, Chemosh gains in power.

Chislev-

Chislev is nature incarnate. The seasons, according to legend, change with the moods of her heart. Besides being worshipped by mortals, she is worshipped by all the beasts of Krynn. She is also the mate of Zivilyn. Him and her live in Zhan, the grand forest beyond the world.

Gilean-

Gilean is the patriarch of the Neutral gods. He guards the book of all knowledge and true names, the Tobril. Before the creation of the universe the High God wrote the Tobril, but could find a god trusting enough to guard it. Finally, after searching time and space, the High God found Gilean and gave him the Tobril, and Gilean learned how to become a god. Gilean's job is to lead the Neutral gods in balancing good and evil so they don't destroy creation. Astinus of Palanthas is rumored to be Gilean in avatar form, but no proof has ever been found.

Habbakuk-

Habbakuk is the god of all creatures on land and sea. Rangers and sailors pay homage to Habbakuk. He made all the creatures in his likeness, including in them his fierceness. Habbakuk is the son of Paladine and Mishakal, and the twin brother of Kiri-Jolith. Him, his father and his brother, created the Knights of Solamnia. Habbakuk is the patron god of the Order of the Crown.

Hiddukel-

Hiddukel is the god of ill-gotten wealth and deals, and is the patron god of evil businessman and dishonest merchants. Hiddukel also trades living souls. Some say Hiddukel can even barter with Takhisis and come out ahead. Hiddukel uses his ill-gotten wealth to control greedy men, and to corrupt honest ones. His most famous deal, was a deal in which led to the Greystone, an artifact that wreaked havoc on Krynn. Anyone tricked into bargaining with Hiddukel, almost always loses their life. Hiddukel directly opposes Shinare and to a less extent, Reorx. Because he is not much of a fighter he fears Reorx and chooses not to risk angering him. He also wants to disrupt international trade and gain a hold on the nations many riches.

High God-

The High God came when all of the world was void and full of chaos. Being all alone the High God wanted to make other, lesser gods. The High God was the one who envisioned Krynn and set the lesser gods to work on it. After the world was completed, the High God grew weary, and withdrew from Krynn, leaving it into the hands of three other gods: Paladine, Takhisis, and Gilean. The High God is not worshipped on Krynn, few people much less know of his/her existence. The High God will not directly intervene unless to prevent the *final* destruction of Krynn.

Kiri-Jolith-

Kiri-Jolith is the patron good god of war, glory, honor, obedience, justice, and rightesous warfare. Good paladins and fighters embrace and revere Kiri-Jolith. His constellation stands behind the Dark Queen, always threatening her. Kiri-Jolith is the oldest son of Paladine and Mishakal, but only by moments. His twin brother, Habbakuk coming shortly after. Kiri-Jolith is also the patron of the Order of the Sword, a part of the Solamnic Knights.

Lunitari-

Lunitari is the goddess of Neutral magic and illusions. She was born from Gilean and an un-known mother. She founded the Red Robes to promote Neutral magic. She works strongly with Solinari and Nuitari to strength the presence of magic on Krynn. The followers of Lunitari, the Red Robes, are the largest Order. Most mages choose Neutral because it allows them to practice magic without the moral shackles.

Majere-

Majere is the god of organization, industry, and control, as well as meditation, faith, and dreams. He creates and inspires the martial arts and all disciplines that lead to an honest confrontation with oneself. Majere works closely with Paladine in creating and populating Krynn. He also created the insects of Krynn, which are a mirror of the god himself, being graceful, complex and industrial. His rival is Chemosh the two battle over organization and faith differences.

Mishakal-

Throughout history Mishakal has been known as the Healer. Before the Cataclysm it was a custom in every city of Ansalon to have a Priest of Mishakal to administer to the needs of the community. In the War of the Lance, she earned names like, Light Bringer, Bearer of Light, and Queen Illumini. These names came from the fact that she was the one who re-introduced Krynn to the old gods. Mishakal is also Paladine's wife and advisor. They have 3 sons, Habbakuk, Kiri-Jolith, and Solinari.

Morgion-

Morgion is the god of disease and decay. He refuses the company of other gods and does not discuss his plans with them. Morgion lives in a bronze tower at the very edge of the abyss. He tries to thwart her effort to heal the people of Krynn.

Nuitari-

Nuitari is the god of black magic. He is the son of Takhisis and Sargonnas. His symbol, the moon Nuitari, cannot be detected unless it eclipses other stars and moons. It can be seen by people of evil intent. Nuitari founded the Black Robes, perhaps Krynn's most secret and coveted Order. The Black Robes are perhaps the powerfullest order, but black magic comes at a price; though it grants its users incredible power, it also slowly takes control over them. Nuitari observes in wry amusement as those who try to master his art are overcome by its dark power.

Paladine-

Paladine is father of good and master of law. He is leader of the good gods but only by example and encouragment. Paladine helped found the Solamnic Knights with Kiri-Jolith and Habbakuk. He is also patron of the Order of the Rose. Paladine's constellation is the Platinum Dragon, which stands in the sky guarding the Tobril, Gilean's constellation, but opposing the five-headed chromatic dragon, the constellation of Takhisis. An old befuddled wizard, named Fizban is an avatar Paladine chose to reveal himself as in the War of the Lance

Reorx-

To the dwarves of Ansalon, Reorx is the greatest god. He is god of manufacture, technology, and metallurgy. (some would also include ale) Reorx played a key part in the creation of Krynn. He forged the planet out of chaos, and made the stars from the sparks of his hammer. He also made the Greystone of Gargath, which in essense fathered the races of dwarves, gnomes, and kender.

Sargonnas-

Little is known of Takhisis's consort. He is the god of vengeance, rage, deserts, and volcanoes. Takhisis, his greatest ally, is sometimes his greatest enemy, he always plotting for his own personally gain. In the end Sargonnas's only goal is to ascend the throne over Takhisis.

Shinare-

Shinare is the goddess of wealth, industry, and commerce. She has many dwarven worshippers, for they appreciate her love for wealth and industry. Merchants, mercenaries, and shopkeepers pay particular tribute to her. Her companion is Sirrion, god of creative fire. Her worshippers strive to build industry and trade to the war torn Ansalon. Her greatest foe is Hiddukel, god of corrupt business.

Sirrion-

Sirrion is god of natural and creative fire. He sculpts fire into beautiful pieces of artwork. He controls every flame, from the sun to the low-burning wick. He occasionally uses fire in a less tame way. He causes forest fires to promote new growth or burns children to teach them respect for fire. His companion is Shinare, goddess of wealth and commerce.

Solinari-

Solinari is the god of Good magic. He is the third son of Paladine and Mishakal. He established the White Robes to promote Good magic on Krynn. A White Robe will choose magic over every aspect of life, death, and afterlife. He works strongly with Lunitari and Nuitari to strength the presence of magic on Krynn.

Takhisis-

Takhisis is the leader of the gods of evil. In the Age of Dreams, Takhisis and Paladine were mates. The two gods were equal and were happy. But when they forged the first dragons, Takhisis grew jealous and wanted the beings for her own. She then corrupted them, her first evil army was born. From that point on, the gods of evil and good have been at war. She then found another mate, Sargonnas, god of fury and vengeance. They then had 2 offspring, Nuitari, and Zeboim. Takhisis lives in the Abyss, always waiting for a chance to come back to Krynn and conquer.

Zeboim-

Zeboim is the daughter of Sargonnas and Takhisis, from which she inherited her evil and corrupt nature. Zeboim is Queen of the Seas, being extremely volatile and impetuous. Her unpredictable tempers maker her a dangerous foe and a lethal friend. Zeboim is also god of tempests and weather. Seaman make sacrifices to her to ensure a safe journey, though some manage to avoid her rage, some never make it back to land. Zeboim refuses to cross the path of her mother, Takhisis, but she considers Sargonnas weak and unworthy of her mother's attention. She is also constantly at war with Habbakuk for control over the seas.

Zivilyn-

Zivilyn is the god of all wisdom, he is also the celestial Tree of Life. His actions are always from the heart, because he knows all wisdom much as Gilean knows all knowledge. And this is why Gilean and Zivilyn work closely together. He is the mate of Chislev, this relationship being a perfect marriage between harmony and understanding.
