Stuff!! About me!!!!!
My family is another area of my life that I hold very dear to my heart. I might call it a dysfunctional family at times.. but I love everybody in it.. and I'm proud to be in it. My parents sepperated a few years back, but they've stayed on civil terms, and even go out together occassionally. Divorced but dating each other... I told you my family is dysfunctional! They always support me in whatever I do though, and I appreciate it more than they know. ^.^ I have one sister, she's 30 and lives in PA..along with  her oldest son, Julien, who's 12and her hubby Casey (Aka Monkey). They were married at Myrtle Beach on June 26th, 2003. Her youngest boy, Nicholas (8) lives with his father here in NC at the moment, and my neice, Michaela (5), lives down at the coast with her mom. Gwen and Casey are working on getting her up there with them.I hope to have more pics of my entire family up here soon!

Hmmmmm ok, well, if you haven't figured it out yet, this is a page just to let y'all know a lil bit about me! As many of my friends know, there are so many different aspects to my personality, it would be hard to put them all on this one page, so I'll just hit some of the major stuff I guess, and if you would like to know anything else, just e-mail me or something!
Ok, first things first. I am 19 years old, and I live in the foothills/mountain area of North Carolina, USA. I can't say that I'm a redneck, or a prep, or a nerd, or that I fall into any "clique" like that. I am me. I can go from muddin on the 4wheeler one day, to reading a book all day or playing on the computer, to dressing to the nines for a night out on the town. The easiest way to describe me, is just that..... me!  Now yes, I suppose I am more of a down-to-Earth country girl than anything else, but that's to be expected, living where I do.
I graduated from EBHS in May of 05, and am currently a Freshman at Western Carolina University. I'm REALLY excited, and love it up here. I'm double majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice, but I'm really busy with my academic and liberal courses, but so far I've loved almost every class I've taken. There's just so much to do, and so much is offered, I have to work on limiting myself to what I NEED, and then a FEW extras, so I don't overload myself. I started out rooming witha friend from home, but that didn't work out, and so I'm now currently living with a wonderful friend, LeeAnn, who I love to death! My cousin goes to WCU too, so I won't be completely alone up there. Like I said, I'm SO excited!!!

A huge area in my life is my music. I have been in chorus for 6 years, was in band for 1, and have always been in some type of music class since I began school. A few years back, I auditioned for Showtime Records, out of Nashville, and they really gave me a HUGE confidence booster, by telling me that they thought I have what it takes, and offered to let me come to Nashville and cut a demo with some songs they would find for me to learn. The only problem was that I didn't have the money at the time, and so I couldn't do it. However, just knowing that the producers I sang for thought I was good enough to even do a demo was such a great feeling, and it's stuck with me. I know in my heart that if I truely want it bad enough, one of these days I'll make it. Even if I don't become all rich and famous, that's alright, because that's not what it's about. It's about singing, and loving it, and maybe helping others with your songs. If I ever get that chance, to help at least one person with my music, would make it all worthwhile.
I have continued my singing here at WCU, and am in two chorus programs we have. Who knows where else I might find a break, after all, I'm just a hop, skip, and a jump from TN when I get up there!!! Wish me luck y'all!!!
*NOTE*
The pictures on this page are just random ones that either help represent my personality, or that I just though were really cute, pretty, cool, funky, or whatever! Some of them have no special meaning as to where I put them on the page, I just wanted them on here, so I found a spot for em.
For a word about my country, and my opinions about it, click here. If you don't want to read it, don't click it, because I DO have my own opinions, and I DO speak my mind. Get over it!
