My Religion
Ok, as many of you may know, I am not Christian. I am Agnostic, with a hint of Eclectic Paganism thrown in. Before you start going beserk, this does NOT mean I worship Satan (I don't even believe in him!) and  it doesn't mean I dance around a cauldron in the middle of the night without my clothes on. *I certainly don't have time for that, as I need all the beauty sleep I can get!* Anyways, I understand that there are some of you who absolutely refuse to accept me this way, and that is fine with me. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and I realize that not everyone is as open minded as others. I am not, at this point in time, going to post alot on this page about what exactly I believe in, because I don't have the time to spare right now to type up alot of stuff that many people won't even take the time to read. To those of you who are willing to read it, I'm sorry, and when I get some extra time on my hands, I will gladly put more information on here. Until then, I will try to update every now and then with some of what I believe, a brief overview, if you will.. I hope it helps some of you understand me a little better. Blessed be, love and light, and may whatever gods and goddesses you believe in bless your lives...

Alright, as I promised, I am going to try and put in a bit more information about what I personally believe. To some of you, this is going to seem just completely out there and off the wall, while others will find it not so different from what you yourself believe. To each their own!
The easiest way for me to describe (quickly) to people what I believe in when they ask me is to say that I believe there is something or someone who is watching over us, but I don't know for sure what or who that is, so who am I to give it a name? I don't know where we go when we die, so who am I to say that the "good people" go to Heaven, and the "bad" ones go to Hell? How do I know such places are real? Maybe I do question too much, and I guess this is where faith comes in, but I just can't seem to put that much faith in something I have that much trouble believing

I believe in goodness, love, trust, honesty and sincerity in all that I do. I know there is evil in the world, but I feel that overall, it is no match for the pure and good.

I do not believe in the Christian God, at least not the way he is depicted to them. I believe in a being thati s neither male nor female, yet is both at the same time.

Christians subdivide God into a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Wiccans (which I do not claim to be) do the same thing, only they see God as a Mother and a Father. In other words, as a Mother Goddess and a Father God. In fact, one of the issues I have with Christianity is that I cannot believe there is only a male aspect of God, when it is a mother/female figure who is the giver of all life on earth. It just doesn't make sense to me. I am a very eclectic spiritual person, and draw from many different religions.

*Random note* Ok, the Bible does not say that there aren't any other gods. In fact, it gives "proof" that there ARE other gods. In the 10 Commandments, it says "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Hence... *dum dum dum* there are other gods which you could place before the Christian God! *Gasp*
It also says "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likenesss of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me..."
For those of you who have trouble understanding that, let me paraphrase:
"Do not worship any other gods besides me. Do not make idols of any kind, whether in the shape of birds or animals or fish. ou must never woship or bow down to them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God who will not share your affection with any other god! I do not leave unpunished the sins of those who hate me, but I punish the children for the sins of their parents to the thirt and fourth generations."
Now, call me crazy, but that doesn't sound like someone I want to be worshiping. *Shrugs*
